The Israeli enemy is waging a special war along the border with Lebanon, even as it continues its assault on the Gaza Strip, now entering its seventh month. On October 8, the enemy launched attacks along the 120-kilometer (75-mile) border with the Lebanese Hezbollah, demonstrating solidarity with the Palestinian people. Since then, Israel has targeted Lebanon nearly 4000 times in response to the Israeli enemy's invasion and occupation of southern Lebanon, Hezbollah was established in 1982. The resistance fought a 33-day war in 2006, widely seen as an Israeli military and strategic failure. Hezbollah declares that it will continue its military operations against the Israeli enemy until the Israeli attack on Gaza stops. Israeli officials have vowed to expel Hezbollah from the southern region of Lebanon, even by force if necessary.
This conflict in southern Lebanon has displaced more than 90,000 people as of March 26, 2024, according to the International Organization for Migration.
